BRANFORD SPORTS HALL OF FAME TO INDUCT 10

The 22nd Branford Sport Hall of Fame will be held on Friday November 20 at 5:30PM at Woodwinds Restaurant  29 Schoolground Rd. Branford.

Tickets can be purchased for $45 each by contacting Andrea Steady at the Branford Community House at 203-488-8304.

Those being honored this year include, William Aniskovich, Meaghan Conte, Robert DuPuy, Ray Figlewski, Eric Golia, Margery Leete, Kierstin Newell and Kevin Potter. Those being honored posthumously include Mac Gregor Kilpatrick and Wilbur Washington.

The group includes DuPuy, the President and COO of Major League Baseball and individuals who participated in swimming, field hockey, tennis and football in high school and college. One is the founder of the popular Branford Fathers Day Road Race, one is a founder of an American Hockey League franchise and one an engineer of numerous athletic fields throughout the East Coast.
